River City Gothic
An old southern city, proud of its Confederate history, once a major center of trade, now a far cry from the grandeur of the past. Lying on the Red River, River City once boasted a booming economy based on the tobacco trade, now only a handful of companies remain in the city. Now the commerce of the 21st century has moved in, along with its banking companies, internet start-ups, and health insurance companies. This has widened the gap between the wealthy and poor and once beautiful antebellum neighborhoods have fallen into disrepair.
